Read all about it

Although the developers are by no means writers, we have tried hard to document the inner workings and overall design of the Nunaliit Cybercartographic Atlas Framework. At the moment, creating an atlas module requires a basic understanding of XML syntax and an ability to read docs or piece together snippets from example modules. It is our priority to make this process much easier and more wiki-like with future funding.

Nunaliit documentation site

The documentation for Nunaliit is located online as well as being included in the download package. If you would like to contribute to the documentation, start adding comments to what's there. If you're really keen and able, we'll be happy to give you an account to make direct changes.

Note: Have a look at the documentation online and join us on the mailing lists and/or comment directly on it if you have some ideas for improvement. At the moment, we're trying to set up something like what the PostgreSQL project has done. They have the ability to comment on any page of their online documentation. We are trying to keep the documentation easy to edit while still being able to include the documentation in the download package. We're currently using Confluence for managing the documentation after using Docbook for our first few releases.
